Oct 27, 2008. #4. the tsi is supercharged and turbocharged, the t-jet is only turbocharged. that is the main difference. it means the tsi doesn't suffer from lag. there is plenty of boost from low rpm. the supercharger handles low rpm, then the turbo takes over at higher rpm once boost has been acheived. 2. remove and clean thoroughly, the hose/tube from the turbo to the intercooler . 3. fit the tube back and use the car normally for 2-3 weeks. 3.5 check the bottle for excessive amounts of oil; empty if necessary. 4. remove the hose/tube from the turbo to the intercooler and inspect for oil..
